Paradiski is a top ski destination due to its size, high altitude skiing, many interesting destinations and vast range of slopes, both on and off piste - there is something for all tastes and levels.

Skiing and ski hosting

The area is so vast and there are so many interesting runs and restaurants that we feel it is important for us to quickly help you discover the best Paradiski has to offer. For this reason, we offer a complimentary ski hosting service two days a week where we will ski with you, helping you get a feel for the area. We'll show you the best runs and introduce you to the most interesting restaurants and many village destinations as our aim is to help you get the most from this amazing area.

No matter what your level or what type of skiing/boarding you are looking for, you will be able to find slopes to excite you: there is just so much here within the Paradiski area. We are located at the centre of this vast area and it is literally a minutes ski down to the 6 man express lift that whisks you up to the mid-station in seven minutes. From here you can ski direct to the Les Arcs link or continue on to enjoy the La Plagne slopes. The choice is endless and you would be hard pushed to ski every piste within a week. It really is a dream, we assume that is why it’s known as “the dream resort”.

Beyond the piste, the off piste

To quote the Daily Mail guide book, Paradiski is “a splendid resort for going off-piste, with some long descents that are often deserted and untracked compared with the classic off-piste runs of more macho resorts like Val d'Isère.”

Off piste skiing is not just for the advanced skier, there are easy runs which just happen to be away from the piste. We have found that people really appreciate the experience of skiing with a guide once they have been introduced to it. For this reason we have decided to part subsidise hiring Jean Michel, a professional guide, to take our guests off-piste if they wish, one morning a week, at a cost to you of just €20 per person. Jean Michel is a friend who has lived in the area all his life and speaks fluent English. He is a very experienced, fun mountain guide (UIAGM: Union International Alpinist Guide de Montagne) and ski instructor, and will take you to places that you wouldn’t go alone; a truly memorable experience.

Snow boarders

This is a great area for boarders, beginners and experts alike. There are some fantastic blues to get you started, a great off-piste playground, half pipe, board parks and border cross. The choice is endless.

Non skier

Activities include an ice-skating rink, bob sleigh, quad biking, cross country skiing, snowshoe walking, paragliding, cinema, water colour painting and massage, all of which we can book for you.

Lift pass prices

Because of the size of the ski area, the lift pass is split into different options so that it is possible to purchase a pass to suit your particular needs. The prices vary depending on areas required and your status e.g. student, elderly, families, children etc. Please check out www.montchavin-lescoches.com for full details or contact us if you want to discuss the options. As a guide, below are the 6 day adult prices for this coming season.

• There are four lifts (free) which cover the main Montchavin-Les Coches beginner areas.
• For the 1-2 week skier the local Montchavin-Les Coches pass (€145) covers 40 Km of runs (20 lifts) and is the size of a small ski resort in its own right.
• For the Intermediate skier skier there is enough to keep you busy with just the La Plagne pass (€203) or you could take the découvert pass (€216) which covers the whole of the La Plagne area with a 1 day extension into Les Arcs.
• For the intermediate and advanced skier (€243) buying the full Paradiski pass will spoil you for choice, and give you mile after mile of varied runs and places to visit.
